Getting started
Our benefit programs are designed to help keep you and your family healthy and financially secure with coverage options that feature choice, flexibility and tax-savings opportunities. Take some time to read over this guide and learn about the benefit choices available to you and your eligible dependents. Read through this enrollment guide first to learn more about Eversource’s benefit programs.
Log into Workday, Eversource’s human resources and payroll cloud-based system, to view your benefit enrollment options, the cost you will pay for each option, and the cost Eversource pays for your benefits.
How do I enroll in my health and life insurance benefits?
You must complete certain on-boarding steps in Workday prior to enrolling in your healthcare and life insurance benefits. More than likely your questions can be answered within this guide. This is a comprehensive review of your benefit options intended to provide you with enough information to make informed enrollment decisions.
If you find you need additional information, call HRConnect at 1-800-841-8684, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and select the “HR Generalist” prompt. The deadline for enrollment is 31 days from the first day you are actively at work. If you enroll before the deadline, your elections will go into effect retroactive to your eligibility date, except for flexible spending accounts (FSAs), the Health Savings Account (HSA) and for life insurance amounts requiring evidence of good health and insurability (EOI).
